MICHAEL VERHEYDEN
Wincreative - 2018
Belgian designer Michael Verheyden creates uncommon objects for common rituals. Blending serene shapes and meandering materials into pure refined creations. "But, the obvious is never obvious", Michael Verheyden says, revealing his quest for simplicity, against the backdrop of a rapidly changing world.

INVENTAIRE MOBILIER
Regain n°31 - Winter 2026
"The Inventaire Mobilier project seeks to breathe new life into objects that are no longer produced, drawn from vernacular architecture and from the households of a bygone rural world. These objects were gathered over the course of ten years of wanderings and aesthetic discoveries, roaming far and wide and crossing the thresholds of homes awaiting rehabilitation. A single family dinner was enough to give rise to the idea of bringing these objects back to life. Rather than updating them to contemporary tastes, what if daylight itself were to develop a taste for them?" Charles Flamand
Creative Direction by Antoine Jean.

MARION VERBOOM
LVMH Metiers d'art - RVB Books - 2019
The book Ester recounts the six months Marion Verboom spent immersed at the Manifattura Thélios, experimenting and creating artworks for the third LVMH Métiers d’Arts Residency. Here, in the Dolomites, 80 kilometers from Venice, at the foot of the Vajont Dam, the French artist allowed herself to soak up the geographical, historical and cultural context of the region, becoming particularly interested in the mechanics of the rocks and the interaction with human activity. In her work, she juxtaposes depictions of the mountains by Old Masters like Bellini, Basaiti, Giotto or Cima da Conegliano with images of the Manifattura’s cutting-edge modernity. The sequence is punctuated by reproductions of her artworks, photographed as though they were anthropological artifacts.

LA NATURE DU DESIGN
M LE MAGAZINE DU MONDE - 12 avril 2025
"A chair forgotten on the sand, a streetlamp emerging among the trees, a vase standing on a rock, a plaid battered by the wind… Within the island’s wild landscapes, photographer Alexandre Guirkinger installed some of the most striking pieces, with the complicity of set designer Vincent Olivieri.
At the end of March, a truck loaded with furniture, lighting fixtures, and objects set off from Paris bound for Corsica. On the island, a production van—equipped with a small office, batteries, and a minimum level of comfort—joined the adventure. After several hours of scouting, the shoot for this design series lasted three days in the far south of Corsica. Barely 30 kilometers separate Bonifacio from Porto-Vecchio, yet the two vehicles logged more than 600 kilometers on the odometer, as the team had to crisscross the area extensively, moving from the Ospédale forest to the Coscione plateau, and never straying too far from the road (no more than a half-hour walk), since all the photographic equipment, tables, armchairs, and assistants—chairs strapped to their chests like backpacks—had to be carried by hand." Caroline Rousseau.
